The Y Homeschool Hub allows children to learn and grow in a hands-on environment while developing skills like creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking while building life skills like responsibility and independence.

The Y Homeschool Hub offers education and physical activity options for homeschool families including physical education, swimming, and art.

• 9:00-10:00 am: Gym & Swim – Kids can get active and learn the mechanics of moving along the way!
  • GYM: On Thursdays, learn about fitness and exercise through P.E.-style group and team athletics.
  • SWIM: On Tuesdays, build aquatic skills while learning cool pool science and engaging in facilitated water play. Kids will be grouped by skill level.
• 10:15-11:15 am: Launch Lab – Kids can get creative with a range of art mediums from crafting with paint brushes and glue guns to constructing with hammers and screwdrivers!
  • FORM: Guided crafting anchored in artistic elements and principles
  • FUNCTION: Expanding upon basic arts and crafts, incorporating functional construction while learning how to safely use basic tools
• 11:30 am-11:45 pm: Lunch & Tell – Bring lunch from home and learn from each other. Plus, an opportunity for children to grow their presentation skills if desired.
